Sarah has a background in disability support work, administration, practice management, human resources and mental health. She holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology and an Advanced Diploma in Community Services Management and is continuously working on professional development as learning is a passion of hers.
Sarah began volunteering in the disability and aged care industry in her teens and has continued to work in the industry in various roles to expand her knowledge and experience. She has a particular interest and passion in working with participants with a psychosocial diagnosis and those experiencing mental health challenges. With a lived experience in mental health and disability, she uses her challenges, experiences and recovery to support and inspire others. Sarah also has the expertise to provide Specialised Support Coordination to participants with funding in this area.
Sarah began working as an Independent Support Coordinator and creating the company Passion for Empowerment in 2023. She now has a small team of passionate and likeminded individuals who she overseas to work collaboratively in supporting our participants within the Widebay community. As well as working towards providing a high standard service within our community, Sarah has a goal of being a workplace of choice where the team can enjoy a work like balance, support and opportunities to grow within their roles having an onflow of positive results back to our participants.
When not at work Sarah is spending time with her family and three dogs. She also enjoys reading, cooking and organising her home.
Support Coordinator / Psychosocial Recovery Coach
Chauna has had experience working as a Disability Support Worker, as well as a wealth of experience in Customer Service dealing with complex situations, always striving to help others. She has also volunteered for services such as DrugARM, providing support around the community to people experiencing, or at risk of homelessness and people experiencing mental health challenges. Chauna also has lived experience in mental health and disability and is able to use her experiences to inspire and motivate others.
She is energetic, proactive, and dedicated to building strong, trusting relationships with her clients. She has a particular interest in working with young people to help them build independence and overcome barriers by providing support that is person-centred and strength based. She is committed to helping clients achieve their goals and live their best life, celebrating even the smallest of wins!
Chauna lives a busy lifestyle between working, studying fulltime and being a mum. When she gets a breather, she enjoys cooking, going to the beach, visiting family, going to the gym and playing football.

Melissa has been working in the aged care and disability industry for over 5 years. She started off doing domestic support to then obtaining her Certificate III in Individual Support to become a personal carer. She has also completed her Mental Health First Aid. Melissa then moved into disability support work based in a SIL environment working with challenging behaviours. Melissa is currently finalising her Advanced Diploma in Community Sector Management and continuously explores opportunities for professional development.
Melissa has lived in Bundaberg for a little over 9 years and is familiar with our local services . She became engaged late last year and has 2 fur babies at home that she adores. Melissa has said she is excited to work in this new role and make a change in our participant's lives and maximise use of their NDIS funding
Support Coordinator | Psychosocial Recovery Coach
Kymberlee has worked in the disability support industry as a Support Worker for 15 years and holds a Cert IV in Disability. During her time in the disability sector, Kymberlee has worked with a wide range of disabilities, cultures and dual diagnoses clients.
During her time working in Brisbane with the Government (AS&RS Department of Child Safety, Seniors and Disability Services) Kymberlee supported clients in a transitional accommodation setting with both mental health diagnoses, dual ID and significant behavioural challenges. This particular part of Kymberlee’s career sparked an inspired interest in supporting people with a psychosocial diagnosis to overcome their perceived barriers with empathetic care, support, understanding and compassion. Kymberlee has a genuine passion when it comes to supporting her participants to live their absolute best lives possible and achieve their dreams and goals no matter how great or small.
Kymberlee is an empathetic, nurturing, caring and gentle natured woman. In her spare time, Kymberlee enjoys spending downtime unwinding at the beach, working out, creating art, spending time with friends and of course her Moodle pup Mr Wilson! Kymberlee is a keen music enthusiast who loves to sing, dance and attend concerts for a well deserved boogie to let her hair down.
